There was a beautiful collection of flattrack racing bikes displayed… all with See See Racing stickers! Love that!…. Hey! My heart is racing! My blood boiling! Oh, I remember… I always wanted to try flattracking!
Roland Sands brought out their custom flattracker with springer front end (leading link…) and a nicely minimal light design. It was nicely functional and beautifully outside the box.
But for me… it was the many flavors of Triumph bikes. There were a few excellent examples, but this one stole my heart. Check out this super sweet yellow hot rod. I just couldn’t walk away from this one!
Three iconic Elsinores brought back many fond memories.
Do you recognize that Yamaha vertical 650 twin? Everything fit absolutely perfect. This is a super clean production design.
There was another ‘Holiday’ inside on the display floor.
The helmet contest produced many fantastic designs. What a fantastic way to really show what custom design is all about.
Outside, vendors and displays include the local racing organization… the Oregon Motorcycle Racing Association (OMRA). And on the weekends, they get to rip up Portland International Raceway.
The Honda 50 racing activities (anyone could do it) were a hit. There was a lot of crazy passing on the high-banked track.
See See Motor Coffee Co. in its environment. Coolness was overflowing. I went home with the See See Motor Coffee Co. cup and T-Shirt.
